We are so excited to share Samantha & David's wedding on our blog. This a couple that is near and dear to our hearts, having planned their wedding through a pandemic, a heat wave and some of the smokiest conditions we have seen at our facility and they did all with grace and perseverance. We are so honoured to be able to work with amazing couples just like these two.
Their Story: David and I met in high school doing musical theatre. We caught each other's eye at callbacks for the grade 11 musical. We became fast friends and started dating a few years after we graduated high school.
The Proposal: David proposed on October 5, 2019 at one of our favourite places, the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge! It happened on a dock on the lake overlooking the mountains. I have never seen David so nervous. His hands were shaking and I was scared he was going to drop the ring into the water!
Most Memorable Moment: The most memorable part of our wedding day was the love. We felt so surrounded by the immense love from our family and friends, it was such a special day.
Hilltop Experience: Hilltop was an absolutely fabulous venue and I couldn't have dreamed of a more gorgeous place to get married. Not only was the venue breathtakingly beautiful, the staff was incredibly helpful and lovely to work with. Jennie helped us with vendor suggestions, had answers to all of my questions, and replied to all of my emails quickly and thoroughly (and there were A LOT of them). Thank you Hilltop for the incredible experience! I would highly recommend Hilltop for any couple getting married.
